Match Report - 15 Mar 2008, Wadhurst United Junior Football Club Team not current lost to Crowborough

Mars 1-4, 3-3
MATCH 1

In the first game the score was 4-1 to Crowborough. All their team seemed to be bigger than our team. They scored immediately from kick off.

After the kick off Dan passed it to me and I nearly scored, but missed. from that goal kick they kicked the ball up the field and scored again.

We stayed confident and kept going. Dan passed the ball up to Luke who scored a great goal.I was substituted with my injured knee.

They had a lot more shots on goal which Angus saved, but they still scored 2 more.

We stayed confident but they were too strong for us. We let ourselves down on our goal kicks, as we kicked the ball directly to their players not our own.

MATCH 2

The score was 3-3. It was an excellent game and we improved a lot from the first game. Our passing and position on the pitch was good. Our goal kicks were better. The team played very well together.

James, Luke and Jonathan all scored. I nearly got the winner right at the end, but kicked the ground instead! My dad was an excellent referee, although he missed a couple of things.
