A REVIEW OF 2023/2024
Like last year, another season with very wet and challenging weather,  however again we managed to complete the season with most games and training sessions having taken place.  The Club offered training and league matches for 15 teams from U7s to U18s, training for an U5/U6 Development Group and FA Wildcats Girls' training - a total of approximately 230 members.

Achievements for the season include:
U11s winners of the Group G Spring Trophy, U13s runners up in the B division, U14s runners up in the B division and U17 Argyle joint runners up in the C division, with our U7, U8 and U9 teams achieving 100% sportsmanship for the season.  Teams also entered various summer tournaments.

Well done to all our teams and players and a big thank you to the coaches and team admins who help ensure everything runs smoothly.

LOOKING AHEAD TO THE 2024-2025 SEASON
This season we will again be providing football coaching and matches for approximately 240 members, with 16 teams entering the Crowborough League - U7s, U8s, U9s, U10s, U11s, U12s, U14s, U15s, U16s and an U18 team and U10 and U11/U12 Girls, with our U13 participating in the Rother League. We also continue to provide training for our development group (Reception and Year 1) and offer FA Wildcats Girls' training.

The Club is excited to be entering their first Girls' teams into the Crowborough League - U10s and a joint U11/U12 team with matches on Saturdays - if you have a daughter interested in taking part please contact: trudioneill@btinternet.com for further information.  This will be for girls in years 4 and 5 as at September 2024 for U10s and years 6 and 7 as at September 2024 for U11/U12s.

The Club would not exist without the many volunteer coaches, parent helpers, committee members, Saturday helpers and referees and so a big 'thank you' to all those who come forward and become involved in the club.  We are always looking for more volunteers, particularly coaches, so please let us know if you are interested.

Thank you also to the following sponsors who have kindly come forward to sponsor new match shirts for some of the teams:

HouseCycle - U8s; Littlewood Fencing - U10s; Wren Construction - U11s, PEGO - U13s home kit; Cedar Gables Camping - U13s away kit

VOLUNTEER COACHES
The Club relies on volunteer coaches to run it's teams and we are always looking for more coaches, male or female,  who are interested in helping out or becoming involved in our teams.  As an FA Accredited Club we have certain requirements to meet and without further coaches coming forward we are unable to introduce additional teams and/or increase the number of players to whom we are able to offer football.   If this is something you would be interested in, or would like to do your FA coaching qualification, we can support you with this - minimum age is 16 - please contact us to discuss further.  All courses are currently online with course details available on The Boot Room | Coaching, Interviews, Courses (thefa.com)

We are currently seeking an U5/U6 coach for Saturday morning training 9am to 10am and an U16 coach for Sunday matches, both playing at Sparrows Green Recreation Ground, Wadhurst. These are paid roles.

FA WILDCATS - GIRLS ONLY TRAINING
