WADHURST JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB - PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING CHILDREN

PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING BY THE CLUB

At times the Club may wish to take photographs or videos of the team or individuals within it.  We adhere to the FA Guidelines to ensure these are safe and respectful and used solely for the purposes for which they are intended, which is promotion and celebration of the activities of the Club and for training purposes.

Individual’s names are never published and we aim to focus on the activity rather than the player.

Team photos may also be taken during the season to upload to the Club website or Club Facebook account.

Photography and videos will only be taken outside during sessions or in a training hall but never in changing rooms.

Should we commission a Club Official or professional photographer to undertake photography for the activities described above, the Club will advise the appropriate teams in advance.

CONSENT

The option to include or not include your player in such activity is included on the annual club registration form.

IMAGES/PHOTOGRAPHY BY PARENTS/SPECTATORS

Whilst we appreciate that our activities are held on public land, as this is an organised event by the Club, and we may have members for whom no authorisation has been received to include them in photographs or videoing, which may be for a variety of reasons, we respectfully ask that you request permission from either the Club Secretary or coach/team squaddie prior to the session.  This includes whether you are discreetly filming from a distance for personal use by mobile phone or camera, or videoing your player for purposes of a school exam ie Sport Btec.   The parent members and opposition can then be advised.

The use of mobile phones to record images in changing rooms, toilets or showers is not permitted by players or parents/spectators.

If loading photographs onto social media, please ensure if any other players are included in the photograph, that their faces are blanked out.

The Club acknowledges that the majority of images taken are appropriate and taken in good faith, however, we hope by following the above procedures we are ensuring the safety of our children in football.
