What an end to the season, both the Under 7's and 8's competed in the Sussex Sixes Tournament at Uckfield over the weekend of the 4th & 5th July and both came away with the Silverware.

U7s report
A fantastic way to end our first season playing against other teams. Two teams represented the under 7s. The "reds" played really well as a team and worked hard for each other throughout. They started with a 2-0 victory and finished with two wins, a draw and two close defeats. Well done to Frankie (our new star goalkeeper), Sam Honey (player of the day and top goal scorer), Eduardo, James, Lars, Teddy and Ollie.
The "blues" finished top of their group and faced an Uckfield team in the semi final. With the game still level after extra time it was decided, after much debate, that the game would be decided on penalties. With Morgan on top form in goal we comfortably won the shoot out 5 - 3. Onto the final to face Little Common (from Bexhill) who had not lost a game all day. After a tense final we came through, winning 1 - 0 with, most appropriately, our player of the year Archie Collett scoring our final goal of the season. A seasons best performance from Edward, Fraser, Luca, Ben Fox, Morgan, Albie and Archie.
