WUJFC seeking groundsperson for pitch linemarking for remainder of season

03 Jan 2013

Following the retirement of Keith Curtis who has been the club's groundsman for the past 5 years or so, the club now requires someone to take his place and take on the job of linemarking the pitches at Sparrows Green.  This takes approximately half a day once a week, usually on a Friday, but this is flexible.  Two people would be an option to share the job, rotate or cover for each other and preferably the same two people for ease of communication, issuing of keys etc.  Training will be given !
There is also the option to include the club's other two pitches at Ticehurst and Stonegate and some minimal grounds maintenance as required.
All roles within the club are on a voluntary basis, but if someone is able to take on all three venues on a regular basis the club could consider making some form of financial contribution or relaxation of subs if a club parent.

Without the linemarking, the club's matches cannot take place !
