Wadhurst United Junior Football Club

Another busy but successful weekend for the under 8s with a team at the Broad Oak tournament on Saturday 12th June and one at the Rusthall festival on Sunday 13th June.

Saturday's team were unbeaten, playing seven games, winning six and drawing one. The team put on a fantastic display of passing supported by a strong defensive performance by Ben C and Fraser, conceding only one goal all day. Goals were shared between Archie C, Ben Fox, Luca and Albie, but the highlight had to be the bullet header from Edward.

A strong performance was rewarded with the award of the fair play award for sportsmanship as well as being the most successful team on the day.

Another strong performance on Sunday, where all players played really well. Playing five games with two wins (including an impressive 6-0), two draws and one defeat (and that to a team with 4 chelsea academy players!). Goals were scored by Freddie (2), Louis(4) and Jacob (4) set up by Austin, Guy, Algie and Sam Honey.
