Match Report - 11 Sep 2011, Wadhurst United Junior Football Club Team not current beat Little Common
This was a well deserved three points in a tough match in which the team had to battle all the way against a good Little Common team, against the wind and rain, and against some dubious decisions.
Wadhurst started well and went a goal up within three minutes as Louis ran on to a good through ball to shoot confidently past the keeper. Wadhurst continued to dominate the first half and wasted several good opportunities. Defensively we looked strong with Jake and Mike very solid and new captain Murrie dictating play in front of them.
Little Common fought back in the second half and equalised with a simple tap in and kept the pressure on. Wadhurst always looked the more likely to score and Callum was on hand to poke the ball home for a well earned win.
This was a good performance all round, Harvey played well on his debut but MotM goes to Mike for an outstanding display at centre back.
