Match Report

Match Report - 03 Oct 2009, Wadhurst Junior Football Club Under 11's Oak beat Uckfield Grasshoppers

Oak 1 Uckfield 0
Well I thought the first half at Broadoak was the most one sided display I had seen, that was nothing, during the first half we managed to somehow hit the post and crossbar an amazing 10 times, plus the keeper made at least a dozen saves.
However just when we though we would not get the goal we deserved Will H stepped up with a great goal.
However only an outstanding save by Freddie at the end gave us the win we deserved.

Oak 3 Uckfield 0
A relatively easy win with an OG and a goal each from Tom & Will H. However the display was lacklustre and we must step the effort up against strong opposition to come.
Oak Man of the Match: Harvey, always cool under pressure and hit that crossbar with the shot of the match.

Ash 2 Uckfiled 1
Good goals from Euan (who else) and Joe gave us a well deserved win, a great team performance from the team that gives max effort in every game.

Ash 6 Uckfield 1
What can be said, 3-0 up after 5 mins and 6-0 at half time, even down to 6 men after 2 players left at half time and one got injured, this was the most dominate performance by of our teams over the past couple of seasons.
Goals Euan 3, Joe 1, Freddie H 1, Seb 1, Nat 1

Man of the Match: Although it was tempting to give this to Euan (again) I think there was one person who when called upon was outstanding and that was Matthew.
