A REVIEW OF 2022/2023
Despite some very wet and challenging weather during the season, we have managed to complete the season with most games and training sessions having taken place.  The Club has once again offered training and league matches for 16 teams from U7s to U18s, with the exception of an U15 team, together with training for an U5/U6 Development Group and FA Wildcats Girls' training.  A total of approximately 250 members.

Achievements for the season include:
U11s receiving the Sportsmanship Award for their group, U18s winners of the C division, U13s winners of the Tournament Shield and runners-up in their division and our U16s Div C team joint winners of the Tournament Shield.  U14s also won at the Pembury Tournament with our U12 and U13 teams being knocked out at the semi-final stages.

Well done to all our teams and players and a big thank you to the coaches and team admins who help ensure everything runs smoothly.

LOOKING AHEAD TO THE 2023-2024 SEASON
This season we will again be providing football coaching and matches for approximately 250 members, with 16 teams entering the Crowborough League - U7s, U8s, U9s, U10s, U11s, U13s, U14s, U15s, 2x U17 and 1 x U18 team, with our U12 joining the Rother League. We also continue to provide training for our development group (Reception and Year 1) and offer FA Wildcats Girls' training.

The Club is hoping to enter an U10s team into the Crowborough Girls' competition (matches on Saturdays) so if you have a daughter interested in taking part please contact: trudioneill@btinternet.com for further information.  This will be for girls who will be in years 4 and 5 as at September 2023.

The Club would not exist without the many volunteer coaches, parent helpers, committee members, Saturday helpers, referees and Sponsors, so a big 'thank you' to all those who come forward and become involved in the club.  We are always looking for more volunteers, particularly coaches, so please let us know if you are interested.

VOLUNTEER COACHES
The Club relies on volunteer coaches to run it's teams and we are always looking for more coaches, male or female,  who are interested in helping out or becoming involved in our teams.  As an FA Accredited Club we have certain requirements to meet and without further coaches coming forward we are unable to develop further teams and/or increase the number of players to whom we are able to offer football.   If this is something you would be interested in becoming involved in, or would like to do your FA coaching qualification, we can support you with this - minimum age is 16 - please contact us to discuss further.  All courses are currently online with course details available on The Boot Room | Coaching, Interviews, Courses (thefa.com)
