Match Report - 22 Feb 2009, Wadhurst United Junior Football Club Team not current beat Hailsham

There was a time when all our training, tactics and planning was going to come together in one sublime performance causing some poor team to get a good drubbing from Wadhurst, but last Sunday wasnt actually that time, even though the 15-0 scoreline might suggest that it did, so pity the team we face when it does all come together !!!

The whole team took part in playing some elegant, skillful football and really didnt give Hailsham an opportunity to cause any problems at all.

I think any further report pales into insignificance, because all that needs to be reported is Super goalmachine Dom Kent hitting a double hat-trick + 1 , exactly Dom grabbed a fantastic 7 goal haul, to put him equal top goalscorer for the season after only 3 games.

A fantastic performance by Dom and if he wasnt offside over a dozen times, he could easily of doubled that - so, Man of the Match this week falls firmly and obviously on the lap of Dom Kent - well done Dom !!

With the terrier Louis Mansfield bagging goals again this week, along with Toby Bunday, Lewis Santer and Aaron Leadbetter, this really was a goalfeast for the promotion chasing Wadhurst United.

And again, much against his own will James DeBene skillfully and easily controlled the defence and snuffed out any threat from the opposing forwards.

Great team performance, the objective still lives on and with 2 games to go and a bagful of goals needed we still have a possibility to win promotion.

Well done guys
