Match Report - 30 Oct 2011, Wadhurst United Junior Football Club Team not current beat Ridgewaye
Although safely through to the next round of the Cup, this was probably our poorest performance of the season. Playing a different formation in the first half didn't work and we looked much more comfortable after switching back to our usual pattern of play in the second half. Ridgewaye presented a much sterner test than our previous league game and never let us settle.
Callum's header finally broke the deadlock in a pretty even first half but changes were needed at half time with Dom, James and Carlin coming on to replace Ross J, Woody and Rory. Wadhurst gradually began to dominate and create chances hitting the woodwork twice before James scored the second goal with a deflected shot. The third goal from Sam F killed the game as a contest and Dom wrapped the game up with the forth. Luke playing in goal after returning from injury had little to do today.
This was a subdubed performance from the team in general, however MotM went to Mike who did have a good game and dominated everything at the back and in the air.
