Wadhurst Oak 2 Chipstead Falcons 0
Without doubt a season best performance by Oak against a team who had won all their games this season. A very close game with very few chances was settles by a good goal by Tom and an excellebt sliding finish by Will H from Tom;s shot. However the work rate and passing by the whole team was second to none.
Wadhurst Ash 2 Chipstead Eagles 2
Without doubt a game of two halves, once again the slope on the back pitch made a difference to the game, unlucky to be 2-0 down at half time Ash responded well with 2 well taken goals by Nat and had chances to win it late on.
Wadhurst Oak 3 Chipstead Eagles 1
It was clear that this was Chipsteads weaker team and oak should have been 3 or 4 goals up by half time but for some poor finishing and good goalkeeping. However a good individual goal by Harry in the first half was followed by goals from Tom & Will W before Chipstead got a late consolation goal in the final minute.
Wadhurst Ash 0 Chipstead Falcons 4
Unfortunaely Ash again had to go uphill in the first half and dispite an early chance we were 2-0 down at half time. Unlike the first match however Chipstead Falcons are a well organised team and even with the advantege of the pitch we were unable to bgreak them down and they scored two other goal sin the second half.
All in all a good team performance against what was a very strong Chipstead side.
Oak Man of the Match: Harry Funnell
Ash Man of the Match: Sebbie Lansdowne
