Match Report - 17 Nov 2007, Wadhurst United Junior Football Club Team not current lost to Langton Green
Mars 0-0, 1-1 - Wadhurst U9’s Mars played two tough matches against Langton Green.
Our passing was great but we should have scored as we had quite a few opportunities to! We could have defended a bit better too. A few of us were having a bad day! We fought hard though and drew 0-0.
The second match was a nail biting one. Our opposition scored a goal in the first half, and nearly scored again and again and again!! But we hung in there and we were determined not to give up. The boys played very well in the second half and were rewarded with a goal in the last minute! So the final score was 1-1.

Mercury 3-2, 0-2
In the first match we started slowly, but Sam F scored a cracker with the keeper having no chance, however they scored just before half time to make it 1-1. In the second half we passed the ball much better and Harry scored two good goals including a last minute winner, following some good passing from Toby & James.
In the second game we were unlucky to lose, Langton against the run of play were two goals up at half time, one a bad deflection which gave Fred no chance. In the second half we were again the better team, especially when we passed it around in midfield, but missed a number of chances to score.
