Match Report - 11 Nov 2007, Wadhurst Junior Football Club Under 16's beat Uckfield Utd
A return to the League programme and a return to winning ways with a record high scoring win for the team.
An early goal always helps and on this occasion Wadhurst were two up inside three minutes with strikes from Michael and Ross L. However Uckfield settled down and it was close to half-time before Michael was able to add a third. The second half performance was equally strong with Callum and Murrie supporting the front two well and both scoring twice as a reward for their efforts. In between their goals, Michael was able to complete his hat-trick. Uckfield scored a late consolation goal but the defence worked well throughout the match to keep their chances to a minimum.
Man of the Match was Callum for a fine all round performance and Michael gets the Performance Award for what was possibly his best game this season and an excellent hat-trick.
