Match Report - 07 Oct 2007, Wadhurst Junior Football Club Under 16's beat East Peckham
Another very tight match with East Peckham and a narrow win thanks to an outstanding team performance from which everybody can take great credit. East Peckham again started very well and had the best of the game in the first ten minutes. However, Wadhurst slowly gained the upper hand and took a 1-0 lead after 15mins with a great goal from Ross Lennox. East Peckham levelled things shortly afterwards and we went into half-time at 1-1. Ross L scored again early in the second half, but East Peckham came back and at the final whistle the only difference between the teams was Ross's third goal and his tenth of the season. Ross gets the Man of the Match award for his match winning performance and some very special goals, but Calum, Michael, Murrie and Campbell had their best games of the season and the whole team can take great pride in this result
