Match Report - 22 Jan 2012, Wadhurst Junior Football Club Under 11's Oak beat Tonbridge Spitfires
Certainly a game of two halves. We came out of the blocks like lightning and totally dominated the first 20 mins of the game, three nil up with 2 good finishes by George and a good individual turn and strike by Euan. In reality we could have had 3 or 4 more in this period if it wasnt for good goalkeepibng and poor finishing. Ten mins before half time Tonbridge scored with only their second attack of the match and then hit the post from a corner on the stroke of half time.
The second half was much more even, Freddie made two great saves from strikes from distance and we had a couple of half chances.
A great win for the team against strong opposition.
