Match Report - 19 Nov 2011, Wadhurst Junior Football Club Under 11's Oak beat Tonbridge Spitfires
Without doubt our toughest game of teh season to date. Opening goal from Harry (30 metres +) was followed by a penalty for them. Tom then converted from close range only for tem to score a header from a corner. The game was being closely contested in midfield with the Tonbridge 8 giving Harry & Solly a tough time. Half Time 2-2
We came out strongly in trhe second half as we always do, a great worked goal between Tom L, Tom A was finished by Euan. This was followed by a great goal from Will W after good work down the right wing with him & Owen.
Tonbridge scored a soft goal with Freddie having a Robert Green moment, enough said!.
However soon after Own got our fifth and decisive goal 5 mins from the end.
It is obvious that Tonbridge will be our greatest threat after Christmas, bring it on!!
