Match Report - 26 Feb 2012, Wadhurst Junior Football Club Under 11 Sunday Team beat Hastings Utd
After our poor performannce against EY the pressure was on to beat Hastings to guarantee runners-up spot in the league, Hastings had already beaten us once this season (in the cup) and a few weeks ago were the only team to beat EY in the league.
With a near full strength team and elliot in goal we played at the new sparrows green pitch.
We dominated the game from start to finish, not only witjh our passing but also in our physical play which had let us down v EY.
Goals from tom & Ollie gave us a deserved 2-0 HT lead, which if it had not been for their keeper could have been more.
After an uneasy 10 mins in the second half we scored again with great play and finish by Robbie.
Unfortunately they scored with 10 mins to go but the expected pressure never materialised and we ran out comfortable winners.
Great team performance by everyone on the day.
