Match Report - 12 Dec 2010, Wadhurst Junior Football Club Under 11 Sunday Team beat Eastbourne Town Yellow
Well it was our match of the season to date against the previous unbeaten Eastbourne team on a small pitch in perfect conditions.
Match 1
ET 4 Wadhurst 4
Well this was a hard fought game in a number of ways, ET took an early lead playing good passing football but once we got into our stride I thought there would only be one winner, 2 goals by Harry F and one by Tom gave us a well deserved half time lead.
The second half was controversal with several strong challenges on our players going unpunished and then an added 5 mins at the end of the game.
However being 4-2 up with 2 mins to go should have been enough but a late equaliser from a disputed corner gave the hosts a draw.

Unlike alot of second matches where the teams change this was a repeat of the first match, however alot of the edge was taken off it and although going behind early gaols from Harry F & Will L in the last 10 mins gave us a comfortable win.
