Match Report - 14 Nov 2010, Wadhurst Junior Football Club Under 11 Sunday Team beat Ratton Rangers
On what I can only descibe as a interesting pitch (standing water in one goal)in driving rain the team did really well against an organised Ratton in the first game and a determined team in the second.
Match 1
Ratton A 1 Wadhurst 4
After a difficult first 10 mins we were always in control of the match with some great passing football that should have resulted in more goals, the home team scoring their goal at the stroke of half time.
Match 2
Ratton B 1 Wadhurst 2
This was always going to be difficult after the first game, the boys were wet through and playing on a difficult pitch against a very determined team. With the home keeper making a string of saves and us missing even more, it looked at one stage as if we would not complete the double, but Tom popped up with 5 mins to go to get the winner, the least he could do agfter some of the misses!!alented team
